The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam Sue the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) for the Misuse of the Word “Anti-Semite”
IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL
For immediate release
October 21, 2023
The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam Sue the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) for the Misuse of the Word “Anti-Semite”
Chicago—On October 16, 2023, which was the 28th Anniversary of the Million Man March, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam (NOI) sued the ADL, its CEO, Johnathan Greenblatt, SWC, and Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the SWC in the Federal Court of the Southern District of New York for 1st Amendment violations and for defamation.
For over 40 years, the Defendants have falsely labeled Minister Farrakhan and the NOI as “anti-Semites,” and as “anti-Semitic” because of a difference in theological viewpoints, and for his pointing out misbehavior of some members of the Jewish community, among other things. This false labeling has hindered Minister Farrakhan in his Mission, which is to deliver the Truth taught by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad that will correct the condition of spiritual, mental and moral death of the Black man and woman of America that came as a result of the 310 years of chattel slavery and over 150 years of oppression and suppression thereafter.
Minister Farrakhan and the NOI, in bringing this action, are keenly aware that good, law-abiding citizens are likewise victims of this mischaracterization including, the late Nelson Mandela, President Jimmy Carter, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Bishop Desmond Tutu, and many more.
The Defendants have, at times, indiscriminately and arbitrarily mislabeled countless politicians, entertainers, athletes, authors, educators, public speakers, academicians, comedians, and others, as being “anti-Semites” and as “anti-Semitic,” simply because, in many instances, the speaker did not agree with the Defendants’ point of view and, in some instances, simply because the person made a favorable comment about Minister Farrakhan and/or the Nation of Islam.
The importance of this case extends far beyond the named Plaintiffs, but it encompasses every citizen of America who values the freedom of speech, the freedom to exercise his or her religion, and the freedom to associate with persons of like interests.
These unjust actions by the Defendants, over the years, have caused many to fear their censure and rebuke, which, thereby, significantly erodes, and has a chilling effect, on the protections woven into the fabric of the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and must not be accepted.
If it is the will of Allah (God), Minister Farrakhan will personally address the filing of the lawsuit at a press conference in the near future.

Who taught you to hate the texture of your hair? Who taught you to hate the color of your skin? To such extent you bleach, to get like the white man. Who taught you to hate the shape of your nose and the shape of your lips? Who taught you to hate yourself from the top of your head to the soles of your feet? Who taught you to hate your own kind? Who taught you to hate the race that you belong to so much so that you don’t want to be around each other? No… Before you come asking Mr. Muhammad does he teach hate, you should ask yourself who taught you to hate being what God made you.
youtube
We don’t steal, we don’t gamble, we don’t lie and we don’t cheat.
You can’t get into a whiskey bottle without getting past a government seal. You can’t buy a deck of cards without getting past a government seal. Here the white man makes the whiskey then puts you in jail for getting drunk. He sells you the cards and the dice and puts you in jail when he catches you using them.
The most disrespected person in America, is the black woman. The most un-protected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America, is the black woman. And as Muslims, the honorable Elijah Muhammed teaches us to respect, our women, and to protect our women. And the only time a Muslim gets real violent, is when someone goes to molest his woman. We will kill you, for our women I’m making it plain yes, we will kill you for our women. We believe that if the white man, will do whatever is necessary, to see that his woman get respect and protection, then you and I will never be recognized as men. Until we stand up like men and pays the same penalty over the head of anyone, who puts his filthy hands out, to put it in a direction of our women.

Peace and Love, Black Family!
✨
The instruction to "do for self" by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad emphasizes self-reliance, economic empowerment, and community building within the Black community. There are several reasons why ALL Black folks should find this message compelling:
✨
1. Empowerment: By taking control of our economic and social destinies, we can empower ourselves and our communities. This can lead to greater self-esteem and a sense of agency.
✨
2. Economic Independence: Historically, Black communities have faced systemic economic disparities. "Doing for self" encourages entrepreneurship, job creation, and financial stability, reducing dependence on other races who obviously hate us.
✨
3. Self-Sufficiency: Building self-sufficient communities means relying less on external institutions and systems like the US Gov.t, which has historically been discriminatory and oppressive.
✨
4. Community Unity: Following the guidance of leaders like Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad fosters a sense of unity and collective purpose, strengthening the bonds within the Black community.
✨
5. Response to Historical Injustices: For many, "doing for self" is a response to historical injustices and systemic racism, aiming to break the cycle of dependence and inequality.
✨
It's important to realize the perspectives on this message vary within the Black community, and not all Black folks agree with or adhere to this philosophy, which is sad. Ultimately, it's a matter of personal choice and community values. But let’s be real, what do most of us currently bring to the table?
✨
I LOVE YOU ALL! ❤️🖤💚

Malcolm X photographed by John Launois, 1964.
The Saturday Evening Post editorial accompanied a shortened version of Malcolm X’s then unpublished autobiography. The excerpt, titled “I’m Talking to You, White Man,” gave an account of losing a father to violence and a mother to insanity, drifting into crime and drugs, finding faith in prison through the Nation of Islam and its leader Elijah Muhammad, and taking his spiritual journey even farther.
After returning from a pilgrimage to Mecca, Malcolm X was asked what had most impressed him. He replied, “The brotherhood: The people of all races, colors, from all over the world coming together as one! It has proved to me the power of the One God.” As a result of what he had seen in the Holy Land, he wrote, “I have turned my direction away from anything that’s racist.” But, in consequence of renouncing racism, “some of the followers of Elijah Muhammad would still consider it a first-rank honor to kill me.”

George Lincoln Rockwell of Tennessee started the American Nazi Party in 1958.
George Lincoln Rockwell (March 9, 1918 – August 25, 1967) was an American Neo-Nazi activist. Rockwell founded the American Nazi Party in 1959 and became the self-styled leader of Neo-Nazism in the United States.[1]
His beliefs, strategies, and writings have continued to influence many white supremacists and Neo-Nazis. Born in Bloomington, Illinois, Rockwell briefly studied philosophy at Brown University before dropping out to join the Navy. He trained as a pilot and served in World War II and the Korean War in non-combat roles, achieving the rank of Commander. Rockwell's politics grew more radical and vocal in the 1950s, and he was honorably discharged due to his views in 1960.
In politics, he regularly praised Adolf Hitler, referring to him as the "White Savior of the twentieth century".[2]: 10 He denied the Holocaust and believed that Martin Luther King Jr. was a tool for Jewish communists desiring to rule the white community. He blamed the civil rights movement on Jews, and viewed most of them as traitors.[2] He viewed black people as a primitive, lethargic race who desired only simple pleasures and a life of irresponsibility, and supported the resettlement of all African Americans in a new African state to be funded by the U.S. government.[2] As a supporter of racial segregation and white separatism, he agreed with and quoted many leaders of the Black separatism movement such as Elijah Muhammad and early Malcolm X.[3][4] In his later years, Rockwell became increasingly aligned with other Neo-Nazi groups, leading the World Union of National Socialists.

El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz (May 19, 1925 – February 21, 1965) was born Malcolm Little Malcolm X, one of the most influential leaders of the 20th Century, in Omaha, Nebraska to Earl Little, a Baptist preacher, and Louise Norton Little. The family moved to Lansing, Michigan.
He worked odd jobs in Boston and moved to Harlem where he drifted into a life of drug dealing, pimping, gambling, and other forms of “hustling.” He avoided the draft in WWII by declaring his intent to organize African Soldiers soldiers to attack whites which led to his classification as “mentally disqualified for military service.”
He was arrested for burglary in Boston and received a ten-year prison sentence. There he joined the Nation of Islam. He was called to Chicago by NOI leader, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. He changed his surname to “X,” symbolizing, he said, the rejection of “slave names” and his inability to claim his ancestral African name.
Muhammad sent him to Boston to become the Minister of Temple #11. He earned a reassignment to Temple #7 in Harlem. He built up the membership of Temple Seven. He met his wife, Sister Betty X, a nursing student and they had six daughters.
He became a national public figure when CBS aired “The Hate That Hate Produced.” He was frustrated by the NOI’s bureaucratic structure and refusal to participate in the Civil Rights Movement. His speech “Message to the Grass Roots,” was a bold attack on racism and a call for Black unity. He, in response to a reporter’s question about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, used the phrase “chickens coming home to roost” which to Muslims meant that Allah was punishing white America for crimes against Black people. He formed a political group called the Organization of Afro-American Unity.
He traveled to Africa and the Middle East and was received as a visiting head of state in many countries including Egypt, Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, and Ghana. He made his hajj to Mecca and added El-Hajj to his official NOI name Malik El-Shabazz. The tour forced Malcolm to realize that one’s political position as a revolutionary superseded “color.” #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

Willis Reading Response by Lichee
African American Photo Archive of 1940s Family from Dallas, TX
“Stripped of familiar and familial materials, the ‘family’ appears to have less of an identity. The portrait of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad appears to be the most treasured and essential artifact the family possesses…..We often learn from photographs how a family has lived. What I find intriguing about this photograph is the fact that the conventional public image we have of him is still preserved here: he is dressed in a suit, his furniture looks uncomfortable, and it appears that he has no time off.”
-----Deborah Willis
The vernacular photograph I found is one of the African American Photo Archive of 1940s Family from Dallas, TX. The blurry scene in this photograph is for a middle-class African American family in the 1940s. Instead of capturing the affection and tenderness, this family photograph shows a sense of loss and separation: a man in military uniform with his military regalia which provides the audience with his identity, alongside with his wife in a white evening dress. The lady’s facial expression has a sense of depression and sadness, looking directly at the camera. They dressed well, sitting tightly together on a puffy sofa. However, the man’s eyesight is wandering and seems not concentrated. He might be off on a long-term military journey soon, to a place which is far away. It reminds me of Willis’s quote that the family appears to have less of an identity. That is, other than a military man, the man is also a husband, a son and maybe a father. I can see that this photograph is well preserved and cherished by time.
For me, photography is an object that can store our emotional memories, both happiness and sadness. Also, it builds the connection between families in different generations that carries lessons and culture.

From the Divine Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught to him from his Master Teacher, W. F. Muhammad, the Indigenous people of the Americas, identified as Indian in our Supreme Wisdom Lessons, are also original and number two million, added to our 17 million, making a total population of 19 million in North America and 4,400,000,000 all over the planet earth. Both people have their origin in Asia, going back to the beginning of time when our entire planet was named Asia, and all our inhabitants were of Asiatic origin. The breaking up of Asia into the seven continents that we know today was a later development but each group of our original inhabitants who later migrated to these seven regions maintained their mother culture to the best of their ability from Mother Asia. ~ Mother Tynnetta Muhammad

Winter Survival: Why You Need to Prepare for Extreme Cold and Potential Emergencies
Winter Survival: Preparing for a harsh winter is essential due to several factors that can significantly impact daily life, safety, and well-being. The potential for extreme cold, large snow accumulations, and power outages necessitates proactive measures.
Preparing for a harsh winter is essential due to several factors that can significantly impact daily life, safety, and well-being. The potential for extreme cold, large snow accumulations, and power outages necessitates proactive measures. Below are the key reasons why individuals should consider purchasing winter items for their home, car, and personal use.
The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad wrote in Fall of America, "Job, in the Bible, prophesied that Allah (God) has the snow and ice to use as His weapon in the day of war and battle against the wicked. We hear and read in the newspapers today of how great, hill-like, little mountains of snow are pushing down from the north not only in the northern states of Minnesota, North and South Dakotas and Montana; but now the snow is in the New England States and they are declared to be disaster areas. The announcer of the disaster of snow in the New England States said that there have never been such great quantities of snow. All up and down the coast to the Carolinas, the rain takes up where the snow leaves off."
1. Extreme Cold Temperatures
Extreme cold can pose serious health risks such as hypothermia and frostbite. When temperatures drop significantly, it becomes crucial to have adequate clothing and heating supplies.
Clothing: Layering is vital; thermal undergarments, insulated jackets, hats, gloves, and waterproof boots help retain body heat. Investing in high-quality winter apparel ensures that individuals can stay warm while outdoors.
Home Heating: Ensuring that your home is equipped with reliable heating sources is critical. This may include checking furnaces, purchasing space heaters (with safety features), and ensuring proper insulation to prevent heat loss.
2. Large Snow Accumulations
Heavy snowfall can disrupt daily activities and create hazardous conditions.
Snow Removal Equipment: Having shovels, snow blowers, or ice scrapers on hand allows homeowners to clear driveways and sidewalks efficiently. This not only facilitates mobility but also prevents injuries from slips and falls.
Emergency Supplies: Stocking up on food supplies that do not require cooking (in case of power outages) is advisable. Non-perishable items like canned goods, dried fruits, nuts, and bottled water should be part of the winter preparedness plan.
3. Power Outages
Winter storms often lead to power outages due to downed trees or ice accumulation on power lines.
Backup Power Sources: Purchasing generators or battery-powered devices can provide essential electricity during outages. Additionally, having flashlights with extra batteries or solar-powered lights ensures visibility during dark periods.
Communication Devices: Keeping charged mobile phones or portable chargers handy allows individuals to stay informed about weather updates or emergency services if needed.

Saviours' Day - The Nation of Islam Annual Commemoration
About Saviours' Day
His coming and declaration fulfills many scriptures; however, perhaps most notable is the fulfillment of the promise God made to Abraham that his descendants would endure physical and mental slavery in a strange land among a strange people—before God Himself would deliver Abraham’s seed and judge the nation they served.
Master Fard Muhammad was born February 26, 1877 in the Holy City of Mecca. He raised and taught The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, who dedicated over 40 years of his life to the resurrection of the mentally, morally, spiritually and economically dead so-called American Negro. Each year he would convene Saviour’s Day and deliver a major address and expound on the divine wisdom given to him by Master Fard Muhammad.
After the 1975 departure of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, in September of 1977, Minister Louis Farrakhan made the decision to rebuild the work of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and reestablish the Nation of Islam.
Under Min. Farrakhan’s leadership, Saviour’s Day returned in 1981 in Chicago. In 1983, the Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan changed the spelling of the commemoration from Saviour’s Day, as it had been, to the plural Saviours’ Day. He explained during a message delivered in Gary, Ind., that the change meant that not only was Master Fard Muhammad the Saviour for the Black Man and Woman of America, but that the Muslims in the Nation of Islam had the mission of delivering the word and doing the work of resurrection as “little saviours” for the suffering masses of Blacks in America and suffering people around the world.
Thousands now attend the convention, which has grown to include workshops, health screenings, lively discussions, fashion shows and entertainment, social and educational activities for children and families, the Salaam Expo bazaar and closes with a major address delivered by Min. Farrakhan. It is a joyful and spirited occasion that is looked forward to by members of the Nation of Islam and the Black community.
Some of Black America’s leading political, social, business sports and entertainment giants have participated in and supported Saviours’ Day conventions. International guests are featured and come to participate in its full schedule of activities. The advent of the Internet has provided another way for people around the globe to enjoy aspects of the convention and access information. Saviours’ Day has most often been held in Chicago, but previous gatherings have also been held in Gary, Ind., Detroit, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and an International Saviours’ Day was held in Accra, Ghana in 1994, drawing thousands to the Motherland.
This year’s convention is February 24 – 26 at McCormick Place Convention Center Chicago. Allah (God) Willing, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan will deliver the Saviours’ Day 2023 Address on Sunday February 26.
